I first saw Dr Zavitsanos about 12 years ago for breast reduction surgery. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a partial left mastectomy. A week later, I had my bilateral breast reduction. Three months later I had radiation therapy on the left breast which caused the breast to shrink in size. Fast forward to this year, I lost weight and my asymmetrical breasts became more noticeable. After having met Dr. Zavitsanos for the first time, I can honestly say that he is very compassionate and professional. I needed breast surgery and he was caring, thorough, asked if I had questions and always took the time to answer all of them. Four years ago I was diagnosed with Lobular carcinoma of the right breast. After several biopsies and tests, I decided to have a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. As a registered nurse with a surgical background, I only trusted Dr George Zavitsanos for this surgery. I had five weeks of radiation and then six months later, Dr. Z. did my reconstruction.
