3/4ish Year Update, Post-Experience with Dr. Zavitsanos. I was in a hurry to get a breast reduction before I turned 26 so I would be able to get coverage under my parent's much better insurance. I was 25 at the time. They were able to get insurance to help cover the charges due to all the medical evidence I provided. The nurses and desk staff were amazing. However, Dr. Z? I am very satisfied with the result after my mastectomy with reconstruction. We decided to do it in two stages to achieve the best result. To say that the work is perfect is an understatement — the doctor is truly gifted! I recommend them 100% — you will be very happy to have chosen this plastic surgeon! When I first met Dr. Z, I was very nervous. I had been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, which required a double mastectomy. I want to sincerely thank Dr. Z for helping me through my breast reconstruction journey. He and his staff were incredibly professional, compassionate, and understanding throughout the entire process.
