This place is awesome! Super attentive staff, gave us a free appetizer and made sure all of our needs were met. Pizza was huge and so good, fun games and great atmosphere! Highly recommend!
I visited for the first time last night. Now, I am left wondering why I haven’t tried Zaroni’s before? Free dough balls with sauce when dining in? Yes, please! The macaroni and cheese options are endless and so delicious. And the pizza? Fabulous. The crust was perfection. Actual cheese pulls. Aside from the incredible food and very friendly staff, there are arcade games to play while waiting. We had a great time and will definitely return.
Their marinara sauce is probably my favorite. I've never been inside before. It was pretty empty for a Saturday evening but we were glad to get some local pizza. It was neat to see the super hero and retro gaming machines. We got the Mac n cheeza which was good and the thai pizza which I enjoyed (I think I would try a different one when we go again). They also have Fifth Ward on tap which was nice. Overall food was good, I would get it again vs chain pizza.
After being a long time defender of Zaronies, I now understand why the parking lot is always empty. The food and the service has slipped to a below chain pizza store grade. I don't think we've ever tossed half a pizza in the trash. I'm very rarely cold, but holy crap, turn the freaking AC off. This was the Parmesan shaker that was brought to our table.
I ordered the Philly cheese Mac and my husband had the chilli Mac. The Philly cheese Mac had under cooked green peppers and other veggies, meat was lacking in flavor and sparse, also cheese sauce lacked the good flavor you expect from a good Mac and cheese. My husbands chili Mac could have been thicker and too was lacking flavor from cheese sauce.
