Best BBQ in Kansas City!!! – I like several BBQ joints in Kansas City... and I will say that the only bad one isnt even from Kansas City...And who goes around claiming they are famous anyway? Thats like the kid who came up with his own nickname in elementary school, and ate his boogers during reading time. I think that Zarda BBQ Is probably my personal favorite, and is to me, the definition of Kansas City BBQ. Went to a party last week, Zarda had a BBQ fountain, kind of like the chocolate fountain. They also had a ranch fountain with veggies and stuff. Nice twist to regular BBQ. Also, saw Zarda on the news with their charity donations to the Chief's and Diabetes, and also donating for local schools. These are tough times, it's nice to see a company that is still giving to the community and people in need.
Excellent service We ordered several dishes from them for a business party. They came out on time & set it up beautifully. They were friendly & smiled all the time. They were happy to help us with any thing that was in need. I loved the food & would call on them again. Excellent service & Thank you.
What Happened? – Poor Customer Service.... slow...
Real KC feel -- love the photos all over the walls, like pictures of feeding the Chiefs (Go Chiefs). The people working there are really nice. AND - hate to say it about a BBQ place, but the salad bar is awesome.
Avoid this restaurant!!! – Zarda barbeque is lousy in all areas od service. They refuse to help you when lines are way backed up. The service there is lousy and you don't get a good deal for the price you pay.
One of the best BBQs in Kansas City. The meat is tender with very little fat on it unlike other BBQ places. They have the best bbq beans.
My personal choice – Zarda barbecue is a cornerstone in Kansas City Barbecue. Since Zarda Barbecue is arguably the best barbecue in Kansas City and Kansas City is the barbecue capitol of the world; by logic, Zarda ranks right up there as the best barbecue in the world. They have the best ribs I have ever eaten. They blow away Fiorella's and annihilate KC Masterpiece. Their beans....oooohhhh so good, with small chunks of meat in them. Lastly, their burnt ends. #3 best BBQ in World – Best BBQ in world after Bryants & Gates. Great ribs and briskets. Great sides and wide selection. You just won't get a bad meal here, ever. Clean and roomy & handles large crowds. Brisket is juicy and tender. I never get burned ribs either. Everything is fresh. Its about as perfect as AB's or Gates. Oh yeah, they do great sending Fed-Exing BBQ to your friends too. Not too many others can do it. Also, I do not know these folks or get any $$ for this. Just straight from the heart, er- stomach.
