I just called the office of Dr. Zarate, and when I asked if they are accepting new patients they responded with "yes." Then her question was, "what insurance do you have?" I replied with Ambetter, she then placed me on a brief hold and when she retured she said, " ok, yeah, we are not accepting new patients." This sounded suspicious, I shared with her that the status on his profile with the insurance states he is currently accepting new patients under Ambetter, but their front office receptionist denied it. Claims to accept my insurance then when I try to to make an appointment they say they are not accepting it at this time. Website says they do!
