I just called the office of Dr. Zarate, and when I asked if they are accepting new patients they responded with "yes." Then her question was, "what insurance do you have?" I replied with Ambetter, she then placed me on a brief hold and when she retured she said, " ok, yeah, we are not accepting new patients." This sounded suspicious, I shared with her that the status on his profile with the insurance states he is currently accepting new patients under Ambetter, but their front office receptionist denied it.
