Great experience
We hired Zappico Construction for our home build in Westchester, NY. While some work was completed, Zappico abandoned the project after charging us for unfinished work. They also withheld plumbing fixtures that we had prepaid for. We then had to hire a different contractor to finish and repair the work. Specific issues we experienced included an uneven master bedroom floor, non-insulated basement pipes, screws that penetrated our in-wall toilet tank causing a leak, and several other defects. Do NOT recommend. Avoid Zappico Construction, Gracemere Partners, and James “Jim” Zappi at all costs. Zappico abandoned our new home construction in February 2024 after repeatedly billing us for incomplete and defective work. We had prepaid in full for numerous upgrades (as their contract required), yet they never completed them and even withheld fixtures we had already paid for. We love our new home. Great construction and attention to the little details. It was our first build, and Zappico helped us make the changes and adjustments real time we needed to get exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with our home.
