My family loves Zao. We love the Traverse location. We always get great food and great service. Hunter and Siri served us tonight. They were polite and accommodating.
So I wanted to try something new at Zao and decided to go with the Honey Sriracha as you can see in the picture provided. It has a hint of sweetness but not all-out sugary like teriyaki. It was also enjoyably spicy. I didn’t use any of the sauce except when I was left with just some rice at the end. I’d get it again for sure.
Exceptional beef and broccoli with sesame ginger.
