Fun petting zoo Zany Zoo has lots of neat and exotic animals to check out, plus the petting zoo is a great hit for my siblings. Being able to pet several animals definitely rates it higher than other pet stores. It also has plenty of supplies. PROS: exotic pets and choices of supply CONS: young, unknowledgable staff in petting zoo
Zany Zoo educational and fun We have had Zanny Zoo come to 4 birthday parties in the past couple of years. They make the party. We are going to have them come again this year. They are inexpensive for the show and the guy that does the presentatiion is informed and entertaining. It is an educational experience for the kids. We also vist the petting zoo. I have experienced nothing negative about them.
Excellent exotic pet store I purchased a chinchilla at this pet store on West 11th in Eugene, and received excellent service. Unlike your typical pet store chain, this "mom and pop" pet store has unique products that you don't find everywhere.
Good Experience I've had both my dogs nails clipped by the groomer and never had any problems. My dogs are nervous about having their nails done, but she clips them quickly and evenly without much to do. Nail clipping can be traumatic for dogs, that's why some owners don't want to do it and go to a groomer or even to the vet and have them medicated first. I've been happy with the whole experience of going into Zany Zoo.
Beware Zaney Zoo First off, there are both positives and negatives to this pet store. However the negatives far out weigh the positives. On the positive side, the animals' cages are kept clean and presentable so there isn't as big a concern of health problems. And the staff want to be helpful.On the negative side, the former owner is an older lady who sold the business to her son (an impression from things said to me while in the store). reptiles Snakes and monitors show cased out front looked great. However their desert lizards looked horrible. bearded dragon baby kept in a cage with horrible temperatures and incorrect lighting. and a Uromastyx in the same tank as a handful of tortoise, horrible temperature control for the Uro and it looked like it was dieing. i was wanting to buy the baby viper gecko they have but couldn't do so after seeing these other guys. reptile kingdom is just another mile down the road and has a much better shop keeper in my opinion... read more
Zany Zoo Pets LLC is a nice small pet store. I just bought a white spotted Gecko from Zany Zoo today. So far I have been satisfied with both the service and the knowledge that the you man I talked to had. First of all I originally wanted a Red-Eared Slider Turtle. (ILLEGAL IN OREGON) so I had to change my reptile choice. I couldn't afford much so they worked with me on the price issue. In Addition there cages were clean. Best local pet store in town If you don't like big chains for pet stores, I'd recommend Zany Zoo. They have bulk food for your pets, and give you personal assistance that the chains don't have. They also have a doggie day care center.
GREAT presentations! I hired them to do a science/reptile program for my son's preschool class as a birthday present. Hands down a great presentation at my son's school. So great I hired them AGAIN for my other child's birthday party, and plan on hiring a 3rd time for a different school program.
