deli While taking a training walk into downtown San Jose, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Zanotto's had opened. Fantastic deli filled with sandwiches and an assortment of side dishes.
Zanotto's Family Markets Used to work in Downtown SJ and have visited this store frequently especially for lunch. Their deli and sandwich counters are excellent. Prices can be somewhat expensive but the quality of the food is well worth it.
Good Lunch Sandwiches are substantial, fresh and at reasonable price. Vegetarians have good choice with humus, avocado, cheese etc. There are several bread options-allof them fresh.The service is quite fast. You can order ahead by phone.
Zanottos Downtown Market This is just a fabulous store and much more. They have a deli offering a great variety of freshly prepared lunch entree's including vegan meals. They also have salad bar and hot soups. Their homemade granola is outstanding. The stuff sold here is of superior quality and the staff is very knowledgable. The items here are definately worth the prices. A must check out place
