Zano's is truly a unique restaurant within the Truckee market. It is spacious and seats 140 people. It is always crowded and has semi-private dining rooms adorned with hand-painted murals and custom ironwork. It even has an outdoor patio on its south side. The food is Italian and fabulous. Awesome Family-Owned Local spot with good food and reasonable prices.
Pizza was average. Crust was undercooked. Fettuccine Alfredo was tasty. Caesar salad was ridiculous in its presentation, for some reason they didn’t bother to chop up the leaves. Service kicked ass.
Great Italian Zano's is very family friendly and serves great food quickly (part of the family friendly appeal). The pasta portion I had was huge, but made a good lunch the next day. The service was professional and courteous.
Fun spot for good pizza and Italian food as well as some funky cocktails! Great spot for NFL football with their specials! Family-owned and operated.
Big plates. For $2 extra bucks you get a green salad. Familiar indeed.
Don't fill up on salad and bread, there portions are HUGE!!!
Won't let you substitute sides on dishes... Pretty dam stupid.
