I received a call informing me that there was a leak affecting the building and that access to my unit was required immediately. At the time, I was on my way to Barrie to visit my geriatric mother in the hospital. Because I was told that someone needed urgent access to my suite, I turned around and took the bus all the way back home so that I could be present and provide access. DO NOT BUY! Extremely disappointed with Zancor Homes. For the price paid, the quality of finishes and attention to detail are far below what I expected from a reputable builder. Too many deficiencies and shortcuts for a brand-new home. The overall experience has also felt far more focused on collecting money than on delivering value to purchasers. I booked the lots for my client and myself in Zancor Brooklyn in June 2024 in a high price. Now requesting the Zancor to help us giving the HST discount or any other discount so we can close in October 2026 successfully with proper appraised price, but Zancor seems totally unhelpful and detached from the reality. Got government incentives to buy then they slapped hidden fees more than the money saved from the incentive. Slimy and greedy. We backed out.
