I am an 85 years old, a retired Civi Engineer, an immigrant from Colombia. I was referred to Dr. Zaher Akkad’s office, to monitor my Cardiac condition in relation with a high blow pressure situation plus a Diabetic type 2 condition. I am so thankful for Dr Akkad and Katie. After having a Calcium Score CT scan last summer in Kingman and being told I would have a major heart attack or stroke within 3-4 years, and there was NOTHING I could do, my husband sought a second opinion. Dr Akkad ordered a Nuclear CT scan to determine where the calcium was in my arteries. Two major arteries were blocked… one 90%, the other 80%.
