The ambiance was really lovely. It’s a great place to sit down and have a quiet dinner. Unfortunately, the food was where it fell short for us, the flavors were just lacking and didn’t live up to expectations. I’m not sure if our waiter was the only one working that day or if something else was going on, but we definitely felt rushed. He came by multiple times asking if we wanted to pack up our food while we were still eating and moved us along to the bill pretty quickly. Zafron is our go to Persian Restaurant. It never disappoints. We meet other couples for dinner and they never hesitate when we suggest Zafron. We started with Kashk Bademjoon, always spot on and a favorite appetizer. The Hummus is also very good. While we have enjoyed other entrees, we always seem to land on the Fire Roasted Salmon with Jewel Rice and Zafron Chicken with Basmati rice. The service is always good and consistent. Food was delicious and there were so many great options to choose from it was hard to pick what to have. The lamb and grape leaves were excellent. The staff was helpful and gracious, we can’t wait to return and try more dishes!
