I am a retired ophthalmic surgeon. My significant other needs cervical disc surgery. Grabel had a good reputation so we made an appointment to see him. He was the rudest, arrogant , and inconsiderate physician I have ever met. He stormed into the exam room with his entourage of ladies , never introduced himself, and ask “what’s wrong”. “Are you ready to have surgery”? He hadn’t even looked at the MRI that we brought. Dr. Grabel is a skilled surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner who performed spinal surgery on me with fantastic results. My pain disappeared and the strength in my leg is returning. I highly recommend him and am grateful to have my pain free life back!
Amazing, life changing experience! Dr.Grabel performed back surgery on me resulting in a resounding success. I had been in chronic pain and was only able to walk short distances. The sciatic pain was overwhelming. Since the surgery, my quality of life has improved tremendously. I am forever grateful for what he has done for me. A thankful shout out to his entire staff as well. Everyone treated me with such kindness. You all made the very best of a daunting endeavor. Thank you so very much!

The C4-5, 5-6 ACDF surgery performed by Dr. Grabel changed my life. A combination of athletics and genetics resulted in much pain and great limitation in my range of motion. However, since my surgery in October 2025, I’m essentially pain-free and can move again, enjoying the activities I love. It’s been decades since I’ve been able to move with such ease.
