Dr. Hoy was the doctor on shift three nights in a row when my 6 yr old son was hospitalized at Centennial. He had severe diarrhea, vomiting and high fever. He was hooked up to an IV the duration of his four nights there. Never once did we see Dr. Hoy. Not even during shift change in the evening or morning. He never once came to check on my son or talk to us. Which would’ve been nice since he is an infectious disease doctor. Where is Dr. Hoy??? What happened to him?
Dr. Hoy was wonderful! He was the first doctor that really listened and took us seriously. He was a life saver for our child. I will keep referring him to anyone that needs his help.
I was very happy with our time with Dr. Hoy. He was patient, kind, and attentive. He listened to and validated my concerns, while bringing his experience and impressive knowledge to the conversation. I felt like he regarded me (the mother) as part of the team and we made a treatment plan together. He talked to my daughter and engaged with her the whole visit, treating her like the young lady that she is now becoming.
