The fellow Abdul Arif, MD was very helpful. He explained clearly what the likely long term outcome of continued a-fib would be. I was ambivalent about the procedure prior to talking with him. I got some good information that helped me to weigh the risks and benefits. It made my decision much easier. Dr. Goldberger was more than willing to allow me to make an informed decision on my own. I appreciate being given clear guidance and allowed to make decisions for myself.
