Surprisingly quick take away options here beyond the staples - smoked salmon, cheeses and fine goods.
Great deli but could become like a zoo during weekends especially if you are trying to get counter service. If you can go off hour, highly recommend it
I have to get a Nova (smoked salmon and chive cream cheese on a bagel) from Zabar's every time I'm in NYC.
So much food and upstairs has some neat gadgets. Place is crazy busy and a bit small, but it's a New York institution. Go check it out
Get there an hour before closing for reduced prices on bagels, croissants and sandwiches!
Eh, not impressed
Buy the lox, a bagel and home made cream cheese with lox and head to central park and have yourself a picnic...perfection.
