I met Dr. Mowery in 2018 for cancer in my throat. I am immunocompromised and therefore not easy to treat. She cured me and I see her every 6 months for follow up. The cancer has not come back. That however is not the best part of having her as my doctor. She is the best doctor on the planet, bar none! She cares about her patients and is always looking out for them. As a heart transplant for almost 20 years, I have met a lot of great doctors, but she is way ahead on the best ones!
I was diagnosed with HPV throat cancer two years ago an went to see Dr. Mowery, and she treated me and my wife with the most respect anyone could ask for. She saved my life, she is the best in her field. My wife and I love this lady for all she as done for me.
Dr. Mowery is a God send simple put. After being diagnosed with throat cancer I went to Duke and met the best team I could have wished for. So many to name from Geraldine and John to the security guard and cleaning staff this team was amazing. They made my struggle amazing and the care and love felt by all contributed to my recovery. I wish everyone who had to deal with this could be so fortunate to find such a caring Dr and medical team.
