I cannot say enough good things about Yuzu. The food was incredible. I had four different nigiri items, a roll, edamame, and a carafe of hot sake, and everything was so good. It is definitely a little more expensive, but the quality is absolutely worth it. What really got me, though, was the service. I came in after a horrible day and, honestly, a pretty horrible few weeks. I ended up ordering a few extra things to go, and one of the items got mixed up. We have tried so many sushi restaurants in the area and are always disappointed in the ambiance. But, Yuzu was zen like with relaxing lighting and decor. The cleanliness was impeccable and staff was exceptional. Now, the food. Perfection. Everything we ordered was clean, fresh and so tasty. The rolls were crisp with unique flavors and fish was so fresh. Highly recommend!
The nigiri and rolls were excellent, and the king salmon was by far my favorite. The quality of the food was definitely there. Unfortunately, the service was a huge letdown. For a $200 bill for two people, I expected the service to match the price. Instead, we felt more like an inconvenience than paying guests, and even ordering drinks seemed to be an annoyance. Listen I don't normally make reviews, but I had to since I think the others are doing a disservice to the community. The online menu is deceptively well designed, food was consistently lacking flavor, portions were sizable - but see previous point.
