Listens well and very competent.
This might be the most incompetent medical office I’ve ever worked with. From getting prescriptions filled accurately, to people answering the phone (they never do), to getting labs sent to insurance’s preferred labs outside of Wellstar - they drop the ball consistently. I sadly wouldn’t recommend this facility unless you want to be constantly inconvenienced and frustrated whilst trying to manage your healthcare needs.
Dr. Zakai has absolutely disappointed me. I have been urging her to change my diabetes medications; and she takes her time in reaching the insurance company; she put in for a new medication on December 5th and she did not inform me until January, that she needed to file an appeal. She promised to file a peer to peer appeal which she failed to do. Onwards and upwards, I have moved onto a new Endocrinologist. I was so scared when looking for an endocrinologist based on reviews. I was originally referred to a different office but by some clerical error was referred to Dr. Zakai's office. It was divine intervention! I have had noting but positive experiences with her and her staff. They have all been so nice! Even when she was on leave and I saw Dr. Patel the experience was wonderful!
