I’ve been seeing Dr. Zakai for a few years now. After my appointment with her today, i was reminded of how great of a doctor she is. She has always been extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient and thorough. She listens, she invites patients to ask any questions they may have. The best experience I’ve ever had with a doctor has always been her. I wish my experiences with other doctors were like my experiences with Dr. Zakai, as i feel comfortable and seen with her.
Listens well and very competent.
This might be the most incompetent medical office I’ve ever worked with. From getting prescriptions filled accurately, to people answering the phone (they never do), to getting labs sent to insurance’s preferred labs outside of Wellstar - they drop the ball consistently. I sadly wouldn’t recommend this facility unless you want to be constantly inconvenienced and frustrated whilst trying to manage your healthcare needs.
Dr. Zakai has absolutely disappointed me. I have been urging her to change my diabetes medications; and she takes her time in reaching the insurance company; she put in for a new medication on December 5th and she did not inform me until January, that she needed to file an appeal. She promised to file a peer to peer appeal which she failed to do. Onwards and upwards, I have moved onto a new Endocrinologist.
