While the product is tasty, the men that run the farmer’s market stand are rude and I can’t help but feel there is a race element to how I have been treated by them, repeatedly. Please, if you are a person of color or consider yourself an ally, be cautious or look for other options.
Picked up a half dozen tamales at the Longmont Farmers Market last weekend. They were quite literally the worst tamales I’ve ever had. I couldn’t get through one of them - threw the rest in the garbage. They were awful.
My wife always wanted to try an authentic biltongs, southern African cuisines, and Boerewors. We've tried over-the-counter ones in American stores and nearby markets, but none of them had any flavors.
