I’m fully addicted to the Babaganoush, tomato basil spread and bruschetta dip!! Not to mention the freshly made chips. I am unsure of some of the previous reviews, but I have been coming to pick up hummus for the past two years at the Highlands farmers market and I’ve never had a bad experience. Omar and his team always treat me with respect and are very kind and generous with the samples ;) I am a customer for life!!
*update to review* Updating due to pricing clarification from the owner. Prices were not posted anywhere and when I asked I didn’t get an answer where I could hear because there were a lot of people walking around, I guess that’s on me, but expensive prices for what you get. Bought some hummus (1 container) and pita chips (1 container) from The farmers market this past weekend and was charged $19.60!
While the product is tasty, the men that run the farmer’s market stand are rude and I can’t help but feel there is a race element to how I have been treated by them, repeatedly. Please, if you are a person of color or consider yourself an ally, be cautious or look for other options.
Picked up a half dozen tamales at the Longmont Farmers Market last weekend. They were quite literally the worst tamales I’ve ever had. I couldn’t get through one of them - threw the rest in the garbage. They were awful.
