Here's the thing, the beef shish kabob isn't really that. Marinated cubes of tenderloin is not what I got. Huge chunks of steak? Yeah. I was pleasantly surprised at first, but half of it was fat. Hummus was decent, tahini was actually garlic sauce. When I saw the scarface mural on the wall I figured this was a latin American restaurant that pivoted to mediterranean. It's not bad but not authentic imo.
Great new spot for takeout and dine in Mediterranean food in ravenswood. It's convenient to the brown line and damen bus. The food is properly seasoned and features lots of fresh veg. Falafel is excellent if you're looking for a vegan option and the baklava is very good and made fresh in house.
