Wonderful. Her perspective on the body and how to treat imbalance is one I haven't encountered with any other acupuncturist. I believe it comes from her years of training in Classical Chinese Medicine, her understanding of the body as a system, her intuitiveness, and her inquisitiveness. I have been seeing Yumei for many years and don't think I could live without her! She has cured my rotator cuff problems and I can swim again; she also has improved my back pain and I am now able to hike long distances. She is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated but what I really like about Yumei is her warmth as a person. I have used other acupuncturists but they just treated my symptoms - Yumei treats the whole person.
Yumei is a person of great care for those she practices her art of acupuncture. Her concern is if acupuncture is the right method to heal the patient is to make the patient heal as quickly as possible. She has been a healer for several areas in my body and most were a quick recovery others to more time. I am blessed by being cared for by such a healer as Yumei Thank you 🙏🏻
I came to Yumei with significant discomfort that was limiting my activity. I had an injury in late 2019 and as I worked toward a return to my former fitness I was struggling. Yumei was extremely thorough in her intake. She immediately developed a strategy to address my primary issue. She is gentle and conscientious in her treatment.
