Staff was great and I was treated in a very timely manner. However, Doctor was not informative of my condition or what to do for after care. There were no instruction on the paperwork I was sent home with, for do's an don'ts of a concussion. Also, he left a note that I could return to work the next day. For one thing, I am retired. My last job was inspecting Navy ships and half day on computer, Neither of which could have occurred the next day. There was no conversation with him about work. I am in poor health and visit the ER frequently, and often end up getting admitted to the hospital. I have always been very happy with the care I received; however, this last time was the worst experience I've ever had in an ER. If this has been my first visit, it also would have been my last. I went in with a BP of 180/120, severe pain in my head, and feeling listless. I passed out twice in the waiting room. After about an hour and a half, I finally went into a room.
