Best wildlife preserve j have ever been to
This wildlife preserve is great. You can walk the areas, or you can do a van driven tour of the grounds. Great way to see some of the animals up close.
Definitely a good experience to have with friends and family. You can book tickets online too. They have a bus tour, walking and cycling options. Cycling option was around $25 for 2hrs approx. We took a bus tour which lasted about 1.5hrs and the tour guide was very informative. Saw many animals, some in rehabilitation and some who decided to stay. Many animals like Bison, Fox, Mountain goats, Moose, Elk, Caribou, Lynx. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find Lynx as it was hiding deep in the enclosure. Overall good place to visit.
Awesome! I feel better about it than a zoo since the animals are either orphaned or recovering. Very beautiful, a good birding opportunity with a variety of wetland and woodland birds. It was quiet except one group who were annoyingly loud. But everyone else was respectful.
