We spent 4 days in Yukon with Eng Khoon and his assistant, Bright, in late Nov 2025 and had a wonderful experience. All our daytime activities were well-planned — we especially loved dog sledding, ice fishing, and the hot springs. Each night, Eng Khoon brought us to his heated cabin where we could comfortably wait for the northern lights, and he shared information on the auroras and helped us capture stunning photos. Our guide , Eng Koon, from Yukon Home and Tour was phenomenal: friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the region. He shared fascinating stories about the aurora and local culture, and even helped us capture amazing photos of the glowing night sky. The hospitality was exceptional. Cozy cabin, warm drinks, and thoughtful touches made us feel right at home even in the crisp Yukon air. Our visit to Yukon this year was made special by Eng Khoon and Yukon Tours. Not only were we able to watch some stunning Northern Lights three days in a row with the tours, we were so glad we chose them to get an amazing almost private tour and cozy stay at Whitehorse. Khoon has been a wonderful guide throughout the tours and made sure everything was well taken care of. Khoon and Bright were great guides. Friendly and attentive, they have made us felt at home. We saw the northern lights for the first time on this trip, two out of three nights! It was great!
It was a great tour with them. Our hosts were warm, kind and professional. We had fantastic experiences with northern lights, wild animals and breathtaking scenery. The best tour in Whitehorse.
