Years ago I was helpless in my pursuit in figuring out what was wrong with me. Dr. Yuki repeatedly dismissed my concerns and told me I was just having optical migraines throwing steroids at it. After several visits I insisted she order an MRI after she told me "it was in my head and I should see a psychiatrist." Dr Yuki was very dismissive of my concerns. Instead of listening to me and trying to find the root cause of my sudden health problems, she was quick to diagnose me with anxiety and migraines. I asked her about a specific condition I had researched and she brushed it off saying “that is sooo rare”. Turns out I did actually have this condition (diagnosed by Mayo Clinic several months later). Would not recommend.

I find Dr Yuki to be caring, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. She has treated me for trigeminal nerve pain as well as migraine vheafachrs over the past several years. She is attentive to what you are saying and NEVER rushes you out. I highly recommend her!

She told me that no one was going to "force" her to take me as a patient? I have uncontrolled seizures which I have struggled with on and off since birth and a rare disease--which causes neurological problems--including seizures. Still she insisted I see a psychiatrist, that the medication I was currently taking for seizures was a psychiatric drug (listed first as being used to treat seizures and also possibly for anxiety & panic attacks), and that she was just a "normal neurologist" so it wasn't her job to even treat the mu... read more
