Everyone was really nice. Did not take long at all to get into my appointment.
Meeting a new doctor when you have a new issue can really be a crap shoot. Fortunately for me I got Dr. Kim, she listened to my description of my issue and to my concerns and my opinion, asked me some relevant questions and then did an exam. She was very thorough and respectful and listened to me instead of jumping to conclusions. She gave me the worst case scenario, which was shingles, and needed labs for a confirmation. Dr Kim listened well and ask detailed questions to understand my health concerns. She was very thorough in assessing my symptoms, ordering appropriate testing, and made a referral to an appropriate specialist.
Dr. Kim is the most thoughtful and thorough Dr I have ever had! Everyone in the office is very nice.
Felt a but if victim blaming with my abdominal ulcer. She literally asked me why I had the ulcer. I'm obese type 2 diabetic and have very sensitive skin. I am also down a caregiver so not getting daily wound care. That wasn't the only issue, but sums up the experience.
