We went to Yugin last nite to celebrate one of our dearest friends' birthdays with a small, intimate group. For starters, they were very strict about time. To be allowed upstairs with the rest of the party, everyone must arrive at same time. One of our friends was running a little late and couldn't join us. For the money we spent on wine pairings. Had a wonderful omakase experience here. The food was excellent, and the service was warm and attentive. It was really great getting to talk to Chef Yugin throughout the whole experience. His humble, down-to-earth personality made the experience that much more enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend it and look forward to coming back.
