Stay away. Go to a proper place and pay the higher price. Man arrived 15 minutes late and opened the clinic. Made me feel very unsafe. Paid the fee but there’s no Medicare rebate or item number, just a fee? He took a photo of the receipt and put it in a WhatsApp chat. Very unprofessional. There are 3 kids on my Medicare card which he verified but he thought this was my first pregnancy. He was very hard to understand. The machine was quite old and images blury. Stay away from this, I went there for ultrasound and on day of appointment no one there, the main door is locked and a man came after 20 min and then he opened the door. After 2 week when I went to GP for result consultation, we found that result was not sent to GP yet and when GP asked for it, someone from overseas replied on that. Even not happy with the man who did my ultrasound, he only spent few min.
Who ever that guy was that answered the phone shouldn’t be working there as the receptionist. Called to book urgent scan 2nd trimester due to contractions and bleeding, he actually argued with me that it’s a morphology scan (which I’ve already had done almost 5 weeks ago) and it’s a fetal wellbeing scan not morphology. Then I questioned why the website states bulk billed and he claimed it’s only for pakenham clinic. An they can’t get me in until Saturday. I wish I could them minus stars . I had a devastating experience at YPS Imaging Pakenham and left feeling completely dehumanized. The two male dark looking staff members (both wearing red T-shirts) were incredibly unprofessional. Instead of providing the care and support needed during a difficult appointment, they were whispering and appeared to be actively looking for ways to make fun of me. There was a complete lack of compassion and basic medical protocol—at one point.
I had an ultrasound with Sonia today and she was absolutely wonderful. She has such a calm and reassuring presence that immediately put my mind at ease. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
