LLIssac. #Trauma. Shoutout to MR armstead,Mr Wilbur,And MS Abraham, only a few people that I could say genuinely tried through human lenses. I was here 20 something years ago im 37 now I had the best experience because I loved too fight back then it was like home too me didn't really help me much i just grew up and made myself better but I stayed in this program from 13 years old until I was 17 never got a home visit at all and we saw horses once when I was there but in all reality thr activities they are showing we never once did we went too school and back too the unit but overall this place is what u make out of it
Actions speak louder than words. The reviews speak for itself. My son dad sent my son here and the juvenile judge agree. Less than a week they put my son on an antidepressant pill. Another different pill less than a month. These meds are unhealthy for my son. Every phone call from him he sound more sadder and sadder. I sometimes have nightmares that I return to this place. My step mom brought up the idea because I was rebellious, when actually she was just a horrible mother to me. The emotional abuse from her was too much and I lashed out. I've learned a few coping skills from this place but nothing really beneficial. I really did like the yoga teacher, she was super zen and nice to me, I even got private yoga lessons. And those like camp consulars that always looked like they were high were fun.
