This place quite literally allowed a patient to unalive my current bf back in 2012. He has permanent brain damage. They take a lot of kids from jail. Please do not send your kids here.
I lived here for 6 months 15-16 years old. The abuse is crazy. I watched a 12 year old boy get restrained for turning off the TV. They are deleting reviews. I'm 19 years old now, and I have seen so many horrible things I will never forget. I hope one day this place gets shut down. Do not send your kids here. They will hate you for it. I am writing to express my concerns regarding the ongoing intake process for my child, which has been quite challenging over the past three months. Initially, I was informed that the delay was due to missing paperwork. After providing the necessary documentation, I was assured that all paperwork was complete. Went there as a kid in the 90s it was the most traumatic experience as a child and I’m still healing from those wounds to this day! . From the emotional abuse from the counselors etc
I discharged from inner harbour about 5 years ago and all I can say is how sad it is that kids like me got abused in numerous of ways and the upper management staff do absolutely nothing about it it is very heart breaking to hear your child come home and you ask them well how was the experience and they give you a thousand reasons they would never want to go back to a residential facility like this one. All I can say is I am sending love and prayers for the families that send their kids here.
