I requested work through Yourmechanic. I quickly received a quote from them for roughly $550. Half for parts and half for labor. I told them I would be supplying the parts. It should have cut the cost of the service in half but Somehow their quote generator had initially messed up my original quote so even with the supplied part I would still be paying roughly $550 for the whole service. Have a credit card dispute going on with this company. Charged me $169 for an 'inspection' that is, for a mechanic to tell me my vehicle needed to be fixed. What?
Why do middle men referral services feel the need to cut in between the customer and the service provider? "Your mechanics" is not not needed. They're a referral site that raises prices and sends out low end mechanic with zero passion.
Scammers! Take advantage of people and do not honor warranty work. Nor will they fix what they broke!!!! DO NOT, support this company!!!
Please do not use this service. They will keep rescheduling and never show up. Waste of time and money. They do not have direct contact with the mechanic.
