Dr.Gao was really kind and patient, will recommend my husband go to him as well!
Pleasant experience with good bedside manners. However, poor follow-up with my imaging results. Asked me to get an ultrasound for my abdomen. I got it on June and it's already October and I am yet to hear from him about the results. Since I am a healthcare worker, I was able to get the results myself and was able to sort of understand the result. However, it's unacceptable that you don't hear from your MD about the results of a diagnostic imaging that they themselves ordered.
While I have had a positive experience with Dr.Gao who is kind, attentive, and knowledgeable, I am extremely disappointed with the front office staff and billing practices. On the day of my appointment, (4/21) I received repeated calls — every 4 minutes — asking if I was close, even though I was not late. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a demand for a $15 copay before I could even check in. I paid it immediately, as requested.
