Erin was great with my daughter. We were referred to her by my daughter's orthodontist for myofunctional therapy. Erin's evaluation was very comprehensive, and she went over everything with me in terms I could understand. My daughter started working with her weekly. When she got her expander in, Erin recommended we hold off on appointments while her mouth adjusted. However, she held our appointment time for us since she knew it was a time that worked for us. At 3 years old my son was almost non-verbal. We sought at least 5 different SLPs in the Philadelphia area and no one was able to help. Thankfully, I was able to find Erin who specializes in Childhood Apraxia of Speech and was able to make the diagnosis. We had a great experience at Your Speech Path! It's a warm, welcoming environment and our son was immediately comfortable with Maria and really flourished with her!
My great appreciation to Maria! Her warmth and assurance always lessened my worries about my son’s (E.M) expressive speech delay. She is very good and I am glad we found her. After 10 months of therapy, my son graduated speech! He had his recent psychological test and his great strength is his verbal ability as well as comprehension! Thank you! Also, kudos to Erin! her expertise in the field is unmatched! More power to everyone!
We see Erin for orofacial myofunctional therapy and truly appreciate her as a provider. Erin makes therapy fun and engaging for our child, while also providing us as parents with the necessary understanding and resources to participate in treatment planning and outcomes. Highly recommend!
