Every 79 I looked at was an ex mine car I bought one the rust in the engine bay was badly spray painted over. There was issues that make the car unroadworthy I didn’t see before buying like the passenger seatbelt being frayed and more. The exhaust crossover pipe cracked and split in half, I was quoted $1,000 to fix it so I fixed it myself. Since then I have had my mechanic look over it here’s the list, Have a look at the photos and see for yourself what my mechanic says about it.
