I’ll always be grateful for the compassion and professionalism of Dr Louise Hale, who was the only health professional to accurately diagnose my symptoms and who supported me on my journey to formal diagnosis and treatment. The whole team rallies to provide responsive care when needed.
I had my first appointment with Dr Hale today, and I walked in absolutely terrified. I’ve been struggling with my mental health for a long time, and I was so afraid that I wouldn’t be believed, or that I’d be judged, or that I wouldn’t even be able to explain what I’ve been going through. We as a family found YHM a great asset to my MHP they are and were working with me at my own pace, compassionate and consistent with care at all times.

If I could give this clinic 0 stars I would. Aside from an exceptionally compassionate and dedicated reception team, if you are seeking mental health support in any capacity, especially serious support, I strongly urge you to go literally anywhere else. If you ever need a hospital admission, this clinic will not help you. They will actually hinder your ability to receive care, especially due to the reputations of their treating psychiatrists within the hospital and psychiatric communities.
