I brought my truck in to have the AC checked and was never told there would be a diagnostic fee. After the service, I was surprised with a charge that I was not made aware of. When I called to explain my concern, the staff was very unaccommodating and just kept saying they needed to pay the technician. I understand that diagnostic fees are standard in the industry, but it’s also standard practice to communicate fees before the work is done. I reached out and asked if they could install my rear coil springs that I bought from Mazda. They would not do it. They were not rude but they were short on the phone. I guess the labor charge isn't enough and they want to make money off of the parts as well. There is no other reason not to install a part that has been verified to fit based on the VIN number.
