I was in my second trimester when I came to see YFC for pain. I was very happy with the care I received. I have been almost 100% pain free as I enter my last trimester. I have been able to stay mobile through out this pregnancy. The difference is night and day. I am very happy with my treatment plan and will continue care until I give birth.
Before coming in, I was dealing with a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. It got so bad that it started affecting my daily life — I couldn’t sleep comfortably, and working out became really difficult. Our experience here has been amazing! My newborn son had a tongue and upper lip tie that were released around 5 days old. He wouldn't latch to breast and was very tense and tight. After our first appointment, he began latching with a nipple shield and then after further appointment he began to latch on his own. I was referred to Dr. Connor and Dr. Jamie by my naturopathic doctor, Dr. Laura Rues, when the aches and pains of pregnancy were really starting to wear on me.
