This is the first doctor's office I've been to since moving to Florida, where they actually care! Not sure how I got so lucky to have found this place. Nurse Jackie, is like the most caring and very disarming person I know. I was able to talk to her about a very sensitive subject with ease. Had an excellent experience. Dr. Shastri took his time going over ll issues, medications and a treatment plan. Didn't wait more than 20 in to see him. He is very upfront and to the point. I found that to be a good quality, as most doctor's tend to be condescending.
Milind Shastri is absolutely condescending and flat out rude. I got the feeling that he does not value other people's time and he could definitely use a course in professionalism. My appointment was at 230 and he saw me at 302. When he walked in the room I was waiting in we greeted and I asked him about the wait. He asked me have I ever been to Disney World or Universal Studios. Then he told me that he isn't a concierge doctor. He then asked where I had been seen before even in which I replied the VA. Awful experience. I set up a first time appointment with a doctor. Rather than that they set me up with some assistant (not a doctor) and wouldn't answer any questions unless I set up a second appointment. They just wanted more money. Stay away!
