Lived in the YOUnion from my sophomore to senior year at the University of Arkansas and have mostly good things to say about my experience there living in a one bed room apartment. Only things I would say I had an issue with would be the noise during weekends and gamedays, but I believe you sign up for that knowing you are right behind Dickson Street. loved the younion for a while until they refused to let me out of my lease even after i felt physically afraid of my roomate. she was stealing prescription medication from me, while also battling an active addiction. i was able to get undeniable proof of this including a police report, texts, statements, as well as a voice recording of her admitting everything. even so, they forced me to find someone else to take over my lease instead of helping me, but that’s actually not what bothers me. im aware that it says that in their... read more
I strongly warn other parents about Younion Fayetteville. My daughter is a U of A student graduating this December. We contacted the leasing office four separate times to request a short-term lease for her final semester. Each time, management told us that a short-term lease was 'not an option' and forced us to sign a full 12-month lease. Now, they are publicly advertising that exact short-term lease (Aug 10th – Dec 31st, 2026). When we pointed this out and asked to switch her to this program, they refused. Living at YOUNION Fayetteville has been an incredible experience. The apartments are consistently clean, modern, and well-maintained, which makes it feel like home right away. The amenities are top-notch—everything you need is right here, and they’re always in great condition. One of the best parts is the location. Being so close to Dickson Street means there’s always something fun nearby, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk to campus, which makes getting to class super convenient.
