RecommendedFamily owned market. Really friendly people. We drive out of our way to go there.
There are several stores with Asian grocery products near me, but I will always be willing to travel the extra distance to go to Young's. One nice feature is all of their freshly produced foods (meats, kimchis, marinated vegetables, etc.) which aren't quite as good as Mom's but pretty darn close! The family and folks here are some of the nicest people and always willing to help me out during my shopping "adventures." Great selection at reasonable prices, so don't know what more one could ask for.
I am looking to cook up a pinneapple/soybean stir-fry and Young's had everything that I needed to enhance my vegan culinary experience. Furthermore, the woman in charge offered a very friendly mom & pop feel.
I recommend to everyone!! Excellent customer service, and clean! You can find almost everything you want here. The owners are very helpful and will assist you with your questions. They even let you know if something is better quality than the item you may have picked up. They will also let you know if you are buying something and something similar is on sale. This was the first time here. They have well stocked shelves with multiple brands. It was the first time I have gone into an oriental grocer (outside of a big city superstore) and found everything I need. The store was clean, and the staff was friendly and completely fluent in English (most without accent).
What a gem of a store here in Delaware. They have a great selection, fresh variety of kimchi, banchan, frozen treats. No need to drive to H Mart. Very friendly as well!
