Like many new psychiatric facilities, all of the prescribers are PAs who are working under Dr. Al-Khatib, whom I have never met. In my opinion, they are not really qualified to write scripts. I have been offered a number of strong risky and expensive medicines. Recently I agreed to increase the dosage on one of my meds, which caused problems. The PA never called me back, and the staff told me to go to urgent care instead of putting me through to my "psychiatrist" .
