These people are incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. This is a first class flooring operation quietly tucked into the high peaks. From the owner, to their installation and service team, to the bottom employee, every single person there is respectful and is a master of their craft. This is a great place to do business.

I had 4 rooms of carpet installed. I have had trouble of one kind or another with each and every room. It ranges from: transition/transition strips were wrong and needed replacement, rug cut too short for proper transition installation, rug not going all the way to the wall in 2 rooms and me the homeowner had to install floor trim when it wasn't there originally, bumps in the rug, not dealing with warranty in a timely or satisfactory manner. I purchased my carpet from Young Lyon because they were the only place that had what I wanted. My initial encounter with them was very poor, as I was ignored on my first 3 visits to the store, then had to call 4 times to get on the schedule to be measured, and another 3 calls to get on the install list. Fortunately, the end result is a lovely carpet. Went into the store on 3 different occasions, and was never greeted or acknowledged....I did end up ordering my carpet from them, only because this was the only place that had the product I wanted. Then it took me 4 phone calls to get someone to come out and measure. Then another 3 calls to get on the install schedule. But I ended up with GREAT service from JODY JOCELYN at Curtis Lumber in Plattsburgh, got all the flooring coordinated and ordered, as well as vanity cabinets and counter tops.
