Here’s the updated review with the remodel mentioned naturally near the beginning. Stopped by Young Dong Tofu House in San Gabriel to give this newer Korean spot a try, and I left with mixed feelings. It’s been a few years since my last visit, and they did a complete remodel. The restaurant looks completely different now with a clean, modern look that feels much more updated than before. Food is good and most of the staff are very friendly, except for one guy. My mother is elderly and asked if she could wait inside due to the heat, he told her she can only stand or else she had to wait outside. She ended up overheating and we had to leave early No idea what his problem is, we avoid the restaurant when we see he's there.

today my sis n mom went n eat they AUTOMATIC added tips charge in it n side dish CAN NOT to go ( food waste) dish portions small Go here if u want to b treat like garbage n automatic add 18% tip to ur bill also to they will not inform u that tip has been added n u might double tip them STAY AWAY

Not authentic Korean tofu restaurant as there were no Korean “ahjummas” running the store. Felt more like a chain restaurant (which it is); caring more about the quantity of customers vs quality of service and attention they give to the customers. Food was decent but this place lost two stars in my books due to 1) poor service and 2) lack of staff training. 1) Poor service was from employees not asking the customers when they walk by if they’d like a refill of any of their sides that are complimentary.
