Removed the tune they install on my Truck but failed to return it back to stock, now my truck is stuck with Shifting issues and jerking, I told this to Travis and he ignored it and said he didn’t notice anything and didn’t offer a solution. Based on my experience and subsequent issues, it appears they did not restore my truck to the VIN-specific OEM calibration. From my conversations and research, it seems they use a generic stock file for Tacomas rather than retrieving the correct factory calibration for each VIN.
After reading reviews I thought this was a great shop, but I am severely disappointed in the work provided, given that my truck now has gear hunting issues and it hesitates or lurches when switching between gears. I brought my truck in to get the OTT tune. Travis installed it and mentioned that everything was backed up in case I needed to go back to stock. I was looking to do 35s on my 21 Tacoma and I talked to Travis about getting my body mount relocation and trimming done on my truck. He was super informative about everything and what he thinks the best option will be for me. He was super transparent and always kept me updated when my truck was getting worked on. If you’re planing to do and modifications on your Toyota Travis is the way to go. I will always choose Yota works to work on my car.
GX 460 OTT tune. Don’t think, just do it. It’s a whole new world!!! Now I can feel I have v8 under the hood. Fuel economy is the same. Travis will literally, hook you up.
