Great base camp location to Yosemite west entrance gate. Quiet large room with eating area, microwave, medium size fridge, separate sink and bathroom. Post hike debrief in the pool and hot tub in the evenings.
My husband and I had such a wonderful experience staying at Yosemite Westgate Lodge! The rooms are very cozy and modern. The house cleaning is exceptional. Sarah at the front desk goes above and beyond for the residents! I highly recommend! The hotel is also only about an hour to an hour and a half from the main hiking trails at Yosemite National Park.
Lovely hotel. Good size rooms. 45 minutes to Yosemite. 90 minutes by car to main Yosemite tourist attractions. Bus to Yosemite picks up around 9 outside hotel. Next to lovely restaurant. Pool is reasonable but gets busy around 5-7pm.
