I had an outstanding experience at Yorktown Cycles! They upgraded the suspension on my Pivot Switchblade, and the difference is incredible. The bike feels smoother, more responsive, and completely dialed in. You can really tell when true professionals are working on your ride. Tom and his staff is always welcoming, professional, and attentive. Their mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to explain what’s being done and why, which I truly appreciate. Hi Tom, your response doesn’t change the fact that my experience was terrible. I was treated with a clear lack of respect, dismissed, and made to feel like my business didn’t matter at all. The only difference between me and other customers seemed to be my age, which is unacceptable. Being young is not an excuse to be talked down to or ignored. I went into this bike shop expecting basic respect and customer service, but instead I was completely disregarded. The staff made me feel like my business didn’t matter at all. On top of that, their prices are extremely overpriced compared to other shops offering the same products and services. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for fair pricing or respectful treatment
Great service, great bike ! I totally recommend this place to rent a bike and go around on Empire State trail.
