Yorks got rats!! Me and my Fiancé stored our furniture here and are truly regretting it. Our stuff is completely cover in mouse poop and urine. When u rent a storage unit u should expect a clean unit that is free of mice, water, and any other creatures. Without needing to get any type of renters insurance. When u build a building to store peoples belongings. There stuff staying clean, dry, and free of rodents should be a main priority. I rented a unit from end of April to mid-October. I had a house full of beautiful and clean furniture. It was not damaged and in very very clean condition. Yesterday, when I opened the door, mice went scattering. There were mice all over and inside of the furniture. Everything is disgusting and covered in mice droppings. It all needs to be thrown away. Chairs and couches are too damaged with holes to even try to clean up. When we contacted York, they said that we didn't have the insurance so they wouldn't refund or make this... read more
