I heard this place was a good place to eat. I was very unimpressed with the food I received. I believe the eggs were powder and they tasted terrible. The 1st set of pancakes received were fried hard. I did mention the eggs to the waitress as everyone at our table did not eat any of the eggs. Most of our food was sent to the garbage. We did not complain, paid our check and chalked it up to live and learn experience.

We ate dinner on Friday evening for the fish fry. The restaurant is nice and clean. There’s a combination of high top and low tables plus bar seating. The food was glorified bar food and we were disappointed. The cod dinner had 4 small pieces of cod sitting in butter. The coleslaw and mashed potatoes were delicious. The fried shrimp (beer battered) dinner included coleslaw and we ordered the french fries. It was all good. York House is on the Midland golf course.

Visiting from out of town (Florida) son graduated from boot camp so this was his first excellent meal in 9 weeks. Food was good, service was excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone.

The Yorkhouse is a great place to experience culture, food, events, and great people. Its food is top notch and the burgers are great! The staff is amazing and have great service!

1st time, stopped in for Taco Tuesday and drinks! Food was delicious, drinks were tasty and the family running this business was very friendly and attentive. They also had kareoke and my family and I truly had a great time. We'd definitely be back!
