Honestly a terrible bunch of people. They offered me a 8 week program for my PTSD that I qualified for. After filling out the questionaire about my self-harm urges and suicidal thoughts, I was denied despite already discussing my prior therapy history, having worked on moving from crisis to management of my mental health. They deemed me 'unstable' based on a questionaire and denied me service. I am appalled, actually. York does not do anything for their students in terms of mental health and could care less. The employees here obviously doesn’t not really care about the mental health of York students all they care about is crazy treatment fees which is about 200 dollars an hour.They don’t even have any patience to explain things clearly to you. Just can’t wait to hang up without answering your questions.Obviously the care for students mental health is just a image created by the officials when you really have some problems no one can help you a lot. No wonder there are so many students who commit a suicide every year in Canada .
