Honestly disgusted by the service I received here. I had an appointment at 11am and it took 45 minutes to get seen too. I went about mental health and a very serious problem and the lady was so rude and told me she didn’t know enough about me so I said you haven’t asked me anything and I said I’ve been diagnosed with mental health problems and she basically said she didn’t believe me. This could have been a life threatening issue. Disgraceful. Never ever go to this doctors. Worst place I’ve ever been too.
Great small family practice, thoughtful and thorough care from Dr Maria Zangari, definitely recommended as she communicates well and takes time to listen to you properly
I had two very disappointing and distressing experiences with Dr. Maria Zangari at York Street Medical. I attended with a clear request to have my thyroid checked due to family history and ongoing symptoms, but this was not ordered. The doctor was dismissive and unprofessional, and when I raised my concerns, I was spoken to rudely and asked to leave. I have never been treated this way by a medical professional. I have since requested my test results and lodged a formal complaint with HaDSCO.
My experience with this doctor has unfortunately been very disappointing. After a shoulder issue, the hospital sent the ultrasound results directly to the doctor. I never received any feedback. Weeks went by in complete silence, so I contacted the clinic myself. I was told the doctor might have seen something related to my shoulder in the email, but that she hadn’t actually reviewed the results. Athena Brooke, I was surprised to see this post. Perhaps you weren't aware of what was going on in the clinic at the time, I was there at the time of your call, as I arrived I saw a lady waiting to pay. Her elderly parents trying to get to the car in heavy winds and rain, I was very concerned about one of them falling over. We could all see it happening, the daughter really needed to pay and get out to assist them.
